Spiritual Retreat Testimonials
A few words from our recent retreaters...
Noreen W.
Omaha, Nebraska
Dr. Acharya Shree Yogeesh is the embodiment of love, wisdom, compassion, and humor. His experience is right from his life, his compassion from his heart. He has the ability to break down walls and build bridges through dialogue and understanding. His modest lifestyle and great compassion and wisdom is a great example of spirituality and non-attachment. Acharya Shree's teachings can be applied to anyone's beliefs without discrimination. My husband and I look forward to our next retreat where we can revive, nourish, gain spiritual insights, and to develop and improve our character and heart with the guidance from a true and enlightened master.
What did you like about your personal retreat?
The retreat was all that I expected and more. It was an unexplainable experience to meet with a real enlightened master in an intimate and non-threatening way. The accommodations were excellent with much more space than I needed to relax and find peace.
What did you learn?
I re-learned what I had forgotten so long ago about love, God, and peace. By removing the corruption and pollution in one's mind practicing compassion and doing good will open the door to our higher selves.
What do you like about Siddhayatan?
First of all, I found that I don't need a two week vacation to get away from it all. Three days slowed down three weeks. I had no schedule to follow, no deadlines to meet, I slept well and more peacefully. I had plenty of time for reflection, contemplation, and my husband and I spent generous time with Acharya Shree and his disciple, Siddhali Shree. It was peace.

My wife and I have just come from a 3 1/2 day retreat at Siddhayatan. It was a refreshing and invigorating time, and one we will always cherish. We had essentially free access to Dr. Acharya Shree Yogeesh and his disciple Siddhali Shree. I found that Dr. Acharya Shree Yogeesh is an embodiment of kindness, openness, balance, and wisdom. True to his monastic roots, he lives frugally, sparsely, and simply - free of luxury. One gets the distinct impression that the teachings he shares - often seasoned with anecdotes to drive the point home - represent passionate convictions drawn from the crucible of his own experience. I am already looking forward to a return visit to Siddhayatan.

What did you like about this personal retreat?
It was relaxing and peaceful. It also gave my wife and me a chance to collect ourselves and recuperate from the hustle-bustle of ordinary life.
What did you learn?
The value of chanting and of bypassing, rather than suppressing, the mind.
What do you like about Siddhayatan?
Its peacefulness, simplicity, and a chance to confer with a wise counselor.

Dr. Acharya Shree Yogeesh and Sadhvi Siddhali Shree are the sheer embodiment of compassion, tolerance, non-violence, and love that has become a rare commodity in this world. There is a calming energy that one experiences when meeting them for the first time akin to a long lost friend. I was greeted with open arms and a generosity that is unparalleled to anything I've seen in a while. There were moments that I, internally felt moved because I knew how monumental moments like these are and how they can awaken the desire to "be the change you want to see in others." My time spent there was short but will stay with me for an eternity. I simply can't wait to return and hopefully some day return the same peace and insight that was so graciously given to me. Be prepared to be inspired!

I enjoyed the personalized teaching and learning. It was not just general information that could be given to just anyone. I learned about myself and what I needed to work on with my chakras. What I thought were my strengths turned out to be my weaknesses, which was very surprising.
Siddhayatan is a very peaceful and quiet place where I could relax, meditate, and walk the grounds if I wished. I felt Acharya Shree was extremely intuitive and had a sensitive style of communicating and not always with words. I appreciated his honest accessment of where I was at in my spirituality, life, and etc.
Thank you for a wonderful experience at Siddhayatan. Acharya Shree was extremely warm, attentive, and sincer in his efforts to show me the way to the truth. Siddhali Shree was helpful and kind to welcome me to this beautiful retreat. Thank you.

The Siddhayatan Retreat is new for the Dallas area. Barely 7 months old, you’ll find this retreat nestled in the green and rolling hills of north east Texas between Bonham and Windom. Here long walks from one corner of the property to the other is both peaceful and exhilarating because you never know what kind of flora or fauna you will happen upon. The beauty of the adventure across the property and to peace of mind is amazing. The founder, Acharya Shree Yogeesh, has great plans for the retreat and you can imagine what it will be in the future. In the interim, in an hour, you can escape Dallas and find yourself in a wonderland where peace comes easy.
