On Meditation...
"Meditation belongs to your soul - not religion. That is why meditation is a universal phenomenon."-Acharya Shree Yogeesh
Sadhvi Siddhali Shree
In a constantly evolving world, there is an innate need to find a safe, peaceful, loving, and spiritual environment that provides an unexplainable source of comfort and protection from all the negativity that exists today. Siddhayatan is a source of peace which equates to the feeling of laying one's head in a mother's lap - a source of unconditional love, calmness, and oneness. Every soul needs to grow spiritually and know what supreme love is, all this can be felt, experienced, and realized at Siddhayatan."

Sadhvi Siddhali Shree is the first disciple of living enlightened master, Acharya Shree Yogeesh. Born Tammy Herbster, she was raised and privately schooled in the Catholic Tradition. At the age of 17 she began her spiritual journey and was eventually introduced to eastern spirituality by several swamis, although no teaching brought her soul true satisfaction. It was not until she met Acharya Shree, that she began to see true spiritual change within herself and experience deep glimpses of Samadhi.
Although spiritually inclined at a young age, Siddhali Shree felt it was her duty to serve in the United States Army. In 2004, after initially meeting Acharya Shree, she voluntarily deployed to Iraq as a Combat Medic. After seeing firsthand the effects of war and violence, Siddhali Shree felt more determined to bring peace to the world. Upon her return from a 16 month deployment, Siddhali Shree completed her Communication B. A. in 2½ years at California State University, Long Beach.
As a Spiritual Teacher, Siddhali Shree's goal is to bring the messages of non-violence, peace, compassion and spirituality to today's world. She believes that the current society is in the grip of materialism, consumerism, violence, sex and drugs promoted by the media and government, and thus lacking in spirituality. Her goals are to encourage children and young adults to learn and incorporate spiritual values into their lives, empower women, and create balance in a male-oriented society.
Siddhali Shree is a custom Sanskrit name, created by Acharya Shree Yogeesh, which means, "shining with the row of liberated souls or God." The name, "Siddhali Shree", has never been used before until now.
Sadhvi Siddhali Shree manages all of Siddhayatan's retreat facilities, programs, newsletters, correspondence, and all websites. Her efforts also include maintaining Acharya Shree's YouTube videos, both pre and post-production.
Sadhvi Siddhali Shree recently published her first book, 31 Day Challenge to a Changed You in December 2009.
